contact infoPComP-S Low Density, strain tolerant nanocomposite thermal spray coating for aerospace applications. Interest was high at the ITSC as a coating for the hydraulic cylinder industry. Ideal candidate for telescopic cylinder applications.
PComP-T Nanostructured titanium based cermet. Robust, easily finished, low friction cermet that replaces carbides in corrosion, seals, and valve applications. Material can be finished with standard alumina wheels down to a 14micro before polishing. HVOF applied to .025 p/side with over 65% Deposit Efficiency. This material is presently being investigated as a direct replacement for chrome plating in the Natural Gas Compressor Industry.
PComP-TC Ultra-high hardness wear resistant nanocomposite cermet(>1600VHN). Extreme wear resistance at similar cost to carbide, with excellent corrosion resistance. Used in sand and slurry erosion and three body wear environments. A major International R & D facility that is renowned for its development of thermal spray and PVD coatings for industrial applications is investigating this material to cope with erosion by micron size particles together with an excellent grinding ability.
PComP-W High toughness nanoengineered WC-Co system. High Deposit Efficiencies, and 4-7X the toughness of conventional carbide at 1400-1600-VHN. Ideal for valve trim and seats on gate valves. The valve manufacturers that we met at the show have shown a great deal of interest in this material as a candidate on some of their components as a OEM offered coating.
Mesocoat Focus: The PComP ™ family of materials is in beta release right now with specific job shop and OEM value chain partners. We are validating performance in selected end-use markets. In our facility located in Euclid Ohio we have the capabilities of applying our materials with the HVOF and Plasma processes. Parameter development, supplying coating properties, or coating test coupons or actual parts are some of the services that Mesocoat is presently offering to the coating community. By exhibiting in the ITSC 2009 in Las Vegas, we were able to introduce our mission and materials to the world’s foremost thermal spray technologists, researchers, manufacturers, end users, and suppliers.
